Four Hours a Day

I’m not sure who said
that you needed
to write for four hours a day
to get good.

They, obviously,
had more time to write
than I did.

I know I should
write four hours a day
but I’m busy
thinking about what to write
and trying to dig up
that one feeling
that one experience
that gets me to the typewriter,
and that
takes days.
